Design After Dark | First Circle

Every great community begins with a small circle.

Not hundreds of people.
Not a massive conference.
Just a handful of curious minds willing to show up.

That is exactly how Design After Dark wants to begins.

For a long time, I’ve felt that designers needed more than another webinar, another Instagram carousel, or another networking event where everyone exchanges profiles and disappears the next day.

I wanted to create a space where conversations matter. Where ideas are shared honestly. Where inspiration comes from the people sitting next to you, not from a screen.

So we’re starting small.

First Circle isn’t a launch event.

It’s the beginning of something we’re hoping will grow into a community of designers, creatives, students, founders, and curious people who simply love making things and exchanging ideas.

This first gathering is intentionally intimate.

No stage.
No formal presentations.
No pressure to impress anyone.

Just normal conversations, shared experiences, unexpected activities, and a room full of people connected by one thing: creativity.

We’re keeping some parts of the evening a surprise, because discovery is part of the experience. Sometimes the best moments happen when you don’t know exactly what’s waiting for you.

Whether you’re a seasoned designer, a student figuring things out, or someone who simply appreciates good ideas, there’s a place for you here.

This isn’t about being the best designer in the room.

It’s about leaving the room a little more inspired than when you walked in.
